I found a tiny lump… and it turned out to be cancerous. The last few weeks have been the most stressful of my life, but luckily the prognosis is good, the lump is gone, and I’m about to start my treatment journey so I’m staying positive - this isn’t going to beat me.
I’ve been told I’ll lose my hair, so I’m choosing to take control and ‘Brave The Shave’ to raise awareness and hopefully a few pounds for Cancer Research.
My advice - check regularly. Know your body. Know when something doesn’t feel right. I found my lump when it was very small, under the average size, and hopefully this will help me come out clear the other side.
