My Story

The 4th of August, 2017, marks the 18th anniversary of my diagnosis with Acute Leukaemia. I was 25 at the time. I successfully underwent four courses on intensive chemotherapy and have been in complete remission since the year 2,000. Macmillan gave my partner and I real, practical, support during what was an incredibly hard time for us and our families. The work they do is simply marvellous, and, by doing this, I hope to repay their generosity and be able to help another family going through hell. After an amazing initial reaction to this challenge I have raised my target to £500.00! To all those that have sponsored me so far, thank you so very , very much! Martin x
