On 23rd December 2009 I lost my mum to cancer. Like many others she had lost her hair to chemo and it had just started growing back when she died. She had a fantastic synthetic wig that looked very much like her old hair. I will be donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust as well as raising money for Macmillan. I really hope my head is as beautiful a shape as my mum's was!
I am hoping people will sponsor me more for the privilege of cutting off a plait or for shaving a part of my head!
This is the latest act of kindness in a long line that I've done in memory of my mum, but by far the most difficult!
