I was diagnosed with breast cancer in the autumn of 2017. Luckily, my operation to remove the lump, plus my chemotherapy and radiotherapy was successful. My friend Richard was diagnosed with cancer just as I was coming to the end of my treatment and, following his treatment, we all thought he had beaten it. Unfortunately, last month it came back and the doctors have said it is terminal this time. I know how much the Macmillan nurses do for cancer patients so I would like to show my support for both Richard and the Macmillan nurses by braving the shave. I do hope you can find it in your hearts to show your support too. My friend Mandy has also decided to join me by braving the shave as well. Together let's show cancer who's boss!
